Johnson founded Document Solutions, Inc. in 1996, one
of the very first firms to specialize in servicing PDF
and electronic-content technology needs within electronic
publishing and business-process applications.
As
DSI's lead consultant, Duff Johnson designs electronic
content solutions to solve problems and exploit opportunities.
Clients include agencies of the Federal Government,
the United
Nations and Adobe
Systems, as well as leading publishers such as Allen
Press, The
Taunton Press and Hanley-Wood.
Duff
was one of the first participants in the industry-defining
User Forums at Planet
PDF and the PDF
Zone, the two independent on-line hubs of PDF knowledge.
His articles, editorials, answers, questions, problems,
and occasional rants may be found throughout Planet

Forum archives. His articles are featured in the Best
